A vacancy exists for a Registered Nursing Sister, reporting to the Nursing Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and follow-up of quality nursing care policies procedures and practices, which is effective and efficient and meets Huis Lettie Theron’s expectations and requirements.
CRITICAL OUTPUTS (as per Job Description):
- Delivery of quality healthcare services to older persons
- Facilitate the implementation of and compliance to Badisa and internal policies, procedures, day-to-day care duties, professional and quality standards and systems
- Involvement with the implementation and control of continuous improvement efforts and systems
- Support the Nursing Manager with regards to her/his responsibilities and tasks, to achieve continuous support, improvement, transparency and objectives an the implementation of the annual Care Plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proof of up-to-date registration with SANC (or e-register proof)
- Proof of relevant qualifications, experience and professional indemnity insurance will be required
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 07h00 – 16h00, but may include standby and occasional shiftwork
- Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
REMUNERATION:
- Negotiable salary, as per Badisa guidelines
